Bishnu Thapa (Raju)

Namaste!
You can call me Raju. I have been working as a safari naturalist since 1999 and as a trekking guide since 2010. I find my work both fulfilling and enjoyable. In late 2014, I joined Santa and Prem in running Samsara Safari Camp in Bardia. I am your host as well as your nature guide. The profession has greatly influenced my worldview in a positive way.

Born: Padampur-1, Chitwan, Inner tarai region of Nepal, South-West of Kathmandu
Areas of Special Interest: Birding, Wildlife conservation
Travel: Birding and Angling Tour in India for 3months-2003.

Santa Chaudhari

Namaste,
You can call me Santa. I have been working as a senior nature guide in Bardia National Park since 1999. I find my work to be very fulfilling and enjoyable. I believe it is the best way to explore the magical nature. I was born at the edge of the National Park and grew up listening to the sounds of birds. What I enjoy most is observing colours, habits and habitats of birds and Royal Bengal tiger. I joined Raj and Prem in running Samsara Safari Camp in late 2014. You will find me as your host and your naturalist when you visit Samsara Safari Camp in Bardia.

Prem Thapa

I am your host in Kathmandu and will be there to receive you at the airport. I began my guiding career in 1994 as an Assistant Nature Guide in Royal Chitwan National Park. After a year in that role, I underwent full Guide Training through the King Mahendra Trust for Nature Conservation and Royal Chitwan National Park.

Kewal Prasad Chaudhary

I am Kewal or you can call me KP. I have been working as a senior nature guide in Chitwan National Park since 2009. I find my work to be self  fulfilling and enjoyable. I believe it is the best way to explore the beautiful nature. I was born at the edge of the National Park and grew up listening to the sounds of birds. I enjoy taking pictures as much as I enjoy listening to their sound. I joined this Nepal Bird Guide team in 2017. I will be your local guide while you are in Nawalparasi Vulture conservation centre and the surrounding forest and rivers.

Krishna Thapa

I am Krishna. I have been working as a bird guide in Nepal since 2017 and find my work to be deeply fulfilling and enjoyable. I believe it is the best way to explore the country’s beautiful natural landscapes and birds. I was born in a village near Chitwan National Park and grew up listening to the sounds of birds. I enjoy taking pictures as much as I enjoy listening to their sound. I joined this team recently. I will be your local bird guide in Kathmandu.
