As Birders Say

Home
Nepal Bird Guide
We all met up with Raj in Kathmandu and headed for Phulchowki, in a 4WD, arriving at the summit to be met by a noisy group of Laughing Thrushes. Raj’s identification was instant and correct, and his use of English bird names was spot on.

An internal flight to visit Bardia NP in the west was expertly organised despite the chaos of the domestic departures area.

Raj knew all the areas where birds could be located, and was able to switch itineraries and organise alternative transport when required. No mean feat.

Above all else his attention to detail and good companionship, made him not only an extremely knowledgeable and trusted leader but a good companion too. We are happy to recommed him as a bird guide in Nepal. e-mail: colinhumpage@btinternet.com
